Pyrolysis; the clean way to recycle tires

1. RAW MATERIALS

We Take in End of Life Tires From Cars & Trucks

2. PROCESSING

Tire Pyrolysis Turns Tires Into Re-usable Byproducts

3. END PRODUCTS

Recovered Carbon Black, Oil and Steel are Extracted

Project Description: The project is based on the pyrolysis of end of life scrap tires to reclaim oil, steel and recovered carbon black. Blizzard Energy, Inc. uses a closed system reclaiming all the end of life tire components. The process itself has no air emissions, except for the burners providing the process heat to the ovens. read more

WHY TIRE PYROLYSIS MATTERS?

Worldwide, it is estimated that one billion scrap tires are produced every year. At Blizzard Energy, we are committed to managing waste, recovering energy and protecting the environment for future generations.

Our Mission

At Blizzard Energy, our goal is to recycle tires to convert them into reusable materials instead of dumping them in landfills. Rubber tires that are buried in a landfill will still be there in 100 years. Instead of ignoring the problem, we want to solve it. Shredding tires to be used on parks and playgrounds is dangerous, because rubber is flammable. It is also hazardous to the environment.

Our patented process breaks down the tires into their most basic compounds, so that safe and usable byproducts such as oil, steel, and recovered carbon black (rCB) can be created from the recycled rubber material.
